16,000 Lips On Maui. That’s A Lot Of Smackers.

ChurchAssuming they’re still marrying just two people per wedding, that’s 4,000 weddings and 8,000 people.

2 lips per person (top and bottom), so 16,000 lips. And a lot of rice. However, this story is really about weddings on Maui from Romantic Maui Weddings and Honeymoons—4,000 couples since 1988.

That’s 15 years. That’s 266 weddings a year.

That’s a wedding a day, except on Wednesday and Thursday (really bad wedding days, anyway).

JustMauied.com is the site for Romantic Maui Weddings and Honeymoons. From what I can gather, these folks put together weddings. On Maui. Even last minute weddings if that chapel in Las Vegas has a long line and you have a big itch to scratch.

“The beaches and resorts on Maui are among the finest in the whole wide world.”There’s everything exciting and romantic about weddings on Maui. There’s nothing exciting about the JustMauied.com web site. Don’t let that get you down. These folks have been doing weddings since 1988.

Not as long, mind you, but nearly as many weddings as Zsa Zsa Gabor. Or Jennifer Lopez.

Of course, you need to understand something about Maui. First, the weather there is nearly perfect about 330 days a year. Second, the beaches and resorts are among the finest in the whole wide world (as in “expensive” but you’d sell the groom to have a wedding there).

Finally, even if you live on the US mainland, Japan, Europe, or even third world countries like France, you can take care of all arrangements for the wedding via email and telephone. Assuming you speak English.

The JustMauied.com web site is basic and a bit cluttered. There’s they required Maui sunset wedding photograph. There’s a few heart-shaped graphics. A Toll Free telephone number (and a fax number for those of you who require quaint communication techniques from the last century).

“Hawaii is one of those states which really doesn’t require much to get you married.”Hawaii is one of those states which really doesn’t require much to get you married. There’s no blood test, or anything like that. A positive balance in your checking account will get you pretty much anything you want. Visa, MasterCard, Amex accepted everywhere.

No alcohol drinking on the beach. All beaches are open to the public, so, even if you have to hike a few miles in an orange chiffon dress and white five inch pumps, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

How do you find these folks to help you with your Maui wedding and honeymoon? JustMauied.com is the start.

Aloha and best wishes.

I called to find out information about planning a wedding on Maui. I didn't plan on hiring a wedding planner, but was using the process as an informal way to possibly find a planner I wanted to work with since I am realizing that will probably be a necessity for planning a wedding on Maui. HOWEVER,the OWNER Sandy who provided information was rude and unprofessional. When I asked her questions instead of promoting her services and business she said "I am not a travel agency". When I told her our main focus was to have a fun party for everyone she asked "what do you mean? drugs, alcohol, wild". Is this really appropriate? No we are not planning on having drugs! We are open to a few different dates at the end of December so I asked her about availability at the end of December and she replied "well you know you just can pull a date from the sky, you have to know a date". I urge anyone reading this post to choose a different wedding planner than justmauied.com/ Romantic Maui Weddings.
