Romantic? Green? Not many Irish beaches in Hawaii. Why is it romantic?
Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. I can understand a Top 5 Beaches list with only one, just one, Hawaii beach. After all, why should we want to hog the spotlight all the time, when simply ‘most of the time’ will do? Green beaches? Romance? Get real. read more » Thursday, April 01, 2010
Welcome to life on the Waianae Coast on Oahu. Without the welcome mat.
Did I mention “rugged?” It is. With a Jekyl and Hyde attitude. Beautiful to behold during the day. Three notches above “rugged” at night with a “tough guy” reputation. Tread carefully. Waianae ain't Waikiki. Even Middle East Terrorists don't go to Waianae at night... read more » Tuesday, March 09, 2010
Beaches in Hawaii are the best beaches in the world. Dr. Beach says so.
We’re not biased, or anything. The beaches in Hawaii really are among the best you’ll find anywhere. Of course, it’s always better to make it official. It’s official. Dr. Beach says Hawaii has the best beach this year. Where is it? read more » Tuesday, March 02, 2010
You'd love a string of pearls, right? Try a string a day. Honest. Almost.
Waikiki is Hawaii’s most famous beach and home to more tourists than all other beaches put together. This pearl of a beach is really a string of beaches, pearls, if you will, that stretch for over 2 miles of glistening sand where you can frolic, bathe, gawk, and… read more » Friday, December 18, 2009
Hawaii's got the best beaches... leave the sand alone... it's dangerous, too.
When beaches are rated, Hawaii often has four or five of the best on anyone’s Top 10 List. Travel to Lanikai Beach on Oahu and you’ll see why. It’s that “talcum powder” feel to the sand between your toes. Keep the sand at Lanikai, though. It’s bad luck (and illegal) to take it with you. read more » Friday, October 02, 2009
It's not all sunshine and pretty on Hawaii's beaches. Even with no sharks.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beaches in Hawaii are known for their pristine and natural beauty. Hawaii beaches always rank in the Top 10 Best Beaches list. Beauty is not all you'll find on some beaches. Danger lurks nearby. Here’s the most dangerous beaches in paradise… read more » Tuesday, June 24, 2008
Walking along crowded Waikiki Beach could be considered hazardous duty.
Snorkeling isn’t really considered a death defying sport. I like snorkeling. Hawaii was made for snorkeling. I can spell snorkel. Of all the beaches that ring the islands of Hawaii, where’s the best beach for snorkeling and what’s death defying about it? read more » Wednesday, August 04, 2004
Hawaii has more beaches than most states. How do we know?
One thing’s for sure, American’s love to work hard to figure out an easy way to do something. Take beaches, for example. Hawaii has some of the world’s greatest beaches. Beach nuts love them because they’re pure, unspoiled, remote, unpolluted—Just like Britney Spears used to be. Now there’s a web site called—4BeachNuts.com. read more »

Everything in our island paradise is naturally beautiful. Even the ugly beaches.
Contrary to popular belief, not all beaches in Hawaii are created equal. Some beaches are downright terrible. Rocks. Lousy sand. Debris. So, what’s a hotel resort that stuck on a crummy beach supposed to do? Charge more money. read more »
